Day 143 & 144

143: Grateful for building legos with my hubby.  Fun stuff.  And we only got frustrated once in the whole build. 144: Ugh..I thought I was caught up, but here I go posting 2 days in one post.  Today I'm grateful for having the means to take care of the house regularly.  Maid service is a luxury that we have, and I'm super grateful every week that they come.

Day 94 & 95

94: I'm grateful for sleeping in. I woke up at 10:30, and it was great!  I love the weekends that I actually do that. 95: It's Monday, and honestly, I'm feeling meh.  But, it's also maid day.  I'm grateful that we have maid service, even if it isn't always convenient for them to be here.

Day 93

I woke up to breakfast cooked by my darling husband. Roasted potatoes, eggs with spinach and cheese, and kielbasa sausage...I'm so lucky. Today I'm grateful for those little things (not so little really) that he does out of love.

Day 92

I napped today. I was super sleepy around 2pm so I put on Star Wars: A New Hope and was asleep before Luke made his appearance. I'm grateful for afternoon naps!

Day 89, 90, & 91

89: Lucked out of cooking and got some fajita nachos. I'm grateful for food delivery services. 90: We were out of ground beef so i used Instacart and got some groceries. I don't miss shopping. Again, grateful for shopping/delivery services. 91: Grateful for a doctor that sometimes actually listens to me. My TSH was 13.19 so we are going to try a Tirosint Solution @ 200 mcg.

Day 88

Sweet potatoes!! That's what I'm grateful for today. They are yummy and they don't make my tummy mad.

Day 86

I'm grateful for science! We got our 2nd dose of the Pfizer COVID vaccine today. In two weeks we will be activated and can get a little bit of relief. We will still continue to mask for both our health and the health of our friends and neighbors.

Day 83, 84, & 85

Holy cow, I'm slippin'! Day 83  I'm grateful for spaghetti night.  I didn't feel like cooking but most Wednesdays we cook spaghetti.  It's quick and easy. Don't forget that it is so delicious!  Yum, spaghetti!! Day 84 I'm grateful for technology.  We ordered these replacement wands for our blinds that make them automated.  It's so cool.  And Jerry crawled behind the TV and installed one on the blinds there.  That blind hasn't been open in decades.  I'm loving the natural light in the house and I can get it with one push of a button. Day 85 I love Fridays!  I'm grateful for drinking water because tomorrow I get my 2nd COVID-19 Vaccine shot.  I'm a little nervous about the side effects but I've heard that super hydrating helps so I'm going to start on my water increase intake later today.

Day 82

It's Tuesday.  I need to change my outlook on Tuesdays.  I tend to be "meh" on Tuesdays. So what could I be grateful for this Tuesday?  The fact that I work from home and didn't have to commute far.  I love it.  While I miss the students and my co-workers. I love that I can do things right up until 8:04, walk to the "classroom" and power up the computer, and be set for the day by 8:05.

Day 80 & 81

So I seem to be skipping days again.  You'd think this would be a habit by now. Day 80 I love the weekends and Jerry and I have been having a blast lately on the weekend.  No, we aren't going out. No, we aren't visiting with people.  We are just having fun together and laughing a lot.  So for day 80, I'm grateful for the ability to see the humor in everything.   Day 81 I'm very fortunate that we have the means to get our house cleaned once a week.  It started when I had my kidney removed and we love it. We are both a little weak in the cleaning department. Ok..I am.  Jerry rocks it out.  Anyway, I'm grateful for our once-a-week cleanings.

Day 79

I had lab work today. I arrived and as I was waiting I noticed everyone had papers. Of course they did because you need lab orders! Miffed, I drove home and tried to book another appointment. None!! I had decided that I was going to go Monday and wait for a time slot. I them turned to Jerry and asked his advice. He said he'd go back since I was already fasting. Ugh....I went back and it was empty!!! I was in and out in 30 minutes. So today, I'm grateful for a loving partner who knows me and I'm also grateful for the luck I had today getting my land work done quickly.

Day 76

My toe hurts... My knee hurts from favoring my toe. My tummy hurts. Wah! Wah! Wah! So what am I grateful for today. A student told me they loved me today. I love my job and they depend on me too much and honestly I cross that line more often than I should but they don't get the support they need from thier teachers... So.....ugh...ethics. it's not like I'm giving answers away, just guiding them on how to write a sentence. Middle school and they struggle. Online school can be rough. Educational interpreting is so...fuzzy... In the "this is where the line is drawn" that when I get an "I love you", I'm cherishing it!

Day 68-74

Umm...wow.  Spring break hit and I forgot about everything. Which was nice.  Apparently, I needed to not think about things.  Was a good break, at home of course.  We got our 1st dose of the Pzier Vaccine on Saturday the 6th.  No real side effects.  Yes, my arm was sore for about 3 days.  The rest of the week was spent watching TV, being silly with Jerry, and playing with Nutmeg.  A win in my book.   I'm grateful that I have a job that gives me a full week off to decompress.  We also have a mini break coming up for Easter.  Yay!!

Day 67

You know what is great? Not worrying about things. We took my car in to the shop on Saturday because all kinds of warning lights were coming up. They days they couldn't get to it until Monday. I'm on sitting break so when I got the text message my car was ready, for a moment I had forgotten it was getting worked on. No stress for this girly on vay-cay. So I'm grateful for those moments of bliss.

Day 65 & 66

Day 65 WOW!! What a day.  I'm grateful for science and a President who gets it.  We got our COVID vaccine 1st shots today.   Day 66 I'm grateful for gaming.  It's a great escape and today I finished Star Wars Jedi the Fallen Order.  Fun!!

Day 64

What a beautiful morning! I got up and ready and drove to the school to do some paperwork that had to be signed "in person." I turned on 80s on 8 on my Sirius XM radio and sang along as I drove my warning light laden car. Fun!  So today I'm grateful to be alive and fairly healthy. Health...oof...I'm far from healthy but today I'm going to say "healthy for me". Ya know...screw it. I'm freaking happy to be alive today!!!

Day 63

Today I'm grateful that I have the patience to deal with crises.  Okay, not all the time.  But today I didn't panic.  I got in my car and a whole lot of warning lights came on which tells me that the electrical system is buggy.  I drove anyway.  I'll be fine..right?  *shrug*  I decided that it was probably just a glitch and I needed to do some errands. I have to do another one tomorrow but the car is going back into the shop Saturday.  I was just there a month ago. *sigh*   So grateful for car troubles....no...again...grateful for staying calm among the chaos that seems to be my life with my car lately.

Day 61 & 62

Day 61 Grateful for video games. They are fun, and challenge my eye hand motor skills. Also I'm currently playing Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order so.... Star Wars!! Day 62 I was home alone today. I don't care for the quiet. I'm better than I used to be. So...yay for personal growth. So what am thankful for? People coming home! And by people, I mean Jerry!

Day 59 & 60

Hmm...I thought I was consistently posting and then I miss a day. So for day 59...I'm grateful for washing machines. I can't even imagine doing laundry by hand.  So for day 60, I'm grateful for dryers. Not only are they awesome for drying wet clothes, the are wonderful at heading up shirts and making them cozy.
