Day 211
I did the laundry all by myself..well...Jerry carried it to the laundry room. I'm grateful that I was able to "flip" the laundry and fold and put it away by myself! π§Ί

202: Jerry went to work today nso I had the while house to myself. I missed his "noise." I'm grateful for the everyday sounds of living with Jerry.
203: Random contractor calls can throw a link into my routine but thankfully I rolled with it. I'm grateful that some days I'm easy going.
204: I'm thankful that I dona good job of keeping up with my health appointments. Today was an Ultrasound of my kidney and "Martha hole" to make sure things are going well.

Day 200
Today, I won. I had to call CVS nexuses I am about to run out of one of my medicines. When I picked it up last month I didn't notice they charged me for 3 months but only handed me one month. After several times of me saying,".. But I paid for 3 months but only got one month." The pharmacist said they would check to see how many boxes were scanned and handed to me and call me back. About 20 minutes later they called and said that I was right and they owed me 2 months off medicine. I'm grateful for technology that tracks exactly what was released all I didn't have to pay out of pocket for medicine.

Day 196, 197, 198, & 199
Last week we had the plumbing redone in our house. The water pressure is amazing now. We also got the walkway and some landscaping done at the front of the house. I'm grateful for the means we have to do these projects. Did I mention the water pressure? Oh yeah...and the plumber cleaned the rain shower head. SO GOOD! π§π§️

Day 195
I'm grateful for running water and the ability to use our bathrooms again in the house. After 9 hours of plumbing work, it was nice to use the facilities in our own home. Jerry and I went to Firehouse to relieve ourselves at lunch and I popped into the restroom while getting another mammogram picture done of my left breast. Good news there is nothing has changed since last year so only the annual visit next year!

Day 190, 191, 192, 193 & 194
Normally, I would break down each day but it's all a blur. Tropical storms, delays in plumbing work, and grief has come to pay me a visit. I blame the "Jeannie shows" I watch... why do people have to die from pancreatitic cancer. FUCK!! Anyway....this is about being grateful so that is my focus. I am grateful for every day I have! Cancer is in remission. I'm obese but I'm alive. I know I need to gety weight down. My TSH is up again..I'm so tired of not feeling good...so tired but I want to be healthy. Grateful for life, no matter how messy.

Day 188 & 189
188: Tropical Storm Elsa hits....she brought some gloom skies but we were fortunate again. I'm grateful that our little bungalow was safe from the storm.
189: Eye appointment day...wheee! Of course my eyes are dilated and anything bright hurts to look at. I am grateful that I am able to take care of my eyes. I have some occular pressure issues and I make sure to keep my appointments. The dilating sucks though. Heh!

Day 187
I've had to "people" two times today. Once to get some lab work and the second to pick up some things via Publix curbside pickup and at CVS. At the lab, misty people were masked but they still don't know how to wear it properly. At Publix of course the curbside attendant was fully masked which I appreciate even though we were never within six feet of each other. I'm really ready for COVID to be over. So what am I grateful for today, home. I'm grateful for home. My safe little sanctuary.
Monday, July 5, 2021
Day 186
Today I'm grateful for fresh sheets! Usually we have maids service on Mondays and they change the bed. The old me would be all "they'll get it next week" but instead I asked Jerry to help and we made the bed. I know I'm incredibly spoiled with maid service... Don't come at me.
